Goal 1
To build community networks to develop and influence the interest, preparation (knowledge), and exploration for 4th – 12th grade students from traditionally underrepresented populations (African American, Hispanic and Latino, and female) using ocean and climate remote sensing data, science, and technology for student education, careers, and workforce development to support NOAA’s mission-related workforce of the future.
Goal 2
To increase community of practice for four 4th – 8th grade teachers through professional development that expand their content, interest, and exploration in ocean and climate sciences and increase their ability to effectively impart this knowledge and skill to their students.
